The ballad of brutality is a text adventure game that utilizes the concept of branching text adventures. The story also incorporates elements of breaking the fourth wall and the simulation theory. The simulation theory is the concept that our world is simulated within a computer.

Eight Point Structure

Trigger: You learn about the reward for transporting mandibles
The Quest: You attempt to find a safe way to transport mandibles
The Surprise: You discover that the wyrms may be affected by music
Critical Choice: The choice of whether or not to attempt to get a mandible
Climax: Playing music to keep the sand wyrms confused while mandibles are collected
Reversal: Make a violin bow/flute/mandolin out of the mandible
Resolution: Play the song of Symphonic Resonance, killing the wyrm and drawing the attention of the Cursed Violinist
Opening Sequence
You are finally here! Stonewood! You have spent a few weeks traveling through the deadly rock spires to reach this city, famous for its musical expertise. As you step onto the bridge leading into the city, a guard stops you and asks your name, After he jots down something on a long roll of yellow parchment, he motions for you to pass.
