Our Differences is a film designed to show incoming NuVu students how to compromise and resolve problems with their partner. Our Differences was made because NuVu is all about collaboration, so being able to compromise is a key skill to have. Seeing as though it was found that being able to compromise at NuVu is extremely important. 

The videos will allow incoming NuVu students to have access to videos that will help them before they even step foot in NuVu. In the film, the main characters have superpowers. The first main character (Brad) has hypnosis, so he is able to force people to do whatever he wants. The second main character (Meg) is immune to Brad’s powers, therefore Brad has to learn to compromise.

We found that the majority of the student body’s current living situation consists of the Middle class and Upper class. For the film, we want the audience to be NuVu because the film will be specifically tailored towards the NuVu community. The people we will probably need to talk to include various NuVu students and coaches, because they will be the actors in our movie, and the movie will be for them. Another person we want to talk to is a movie producer to get tips from. Some questions we could ask the students and coaches would be “Would you like to help us make a movie?” and “What would you say your superpower is?” Some questions that we would have for a producer could be “how do we incorporate b-roll into the movie?” and also “how do you add suspense to the movie?” These questions could help us make the best film possible.
