Interactive Installation is an installation for the office of Hack Club Bank in Shelburne, Vermont. Using lighting and shape patterns, the installation displays changes of various data points from the platform and online community in color.
The goal of the installation was to design and create an installation for the site in Vermont that visualizes the data to connect the online community to a physical location and create a physical impact for the actions taken online. The goal for Open Innovation was to complete a scale model of the final installation.
We wanted to create a game where each level is a metaphor for a negative emotion (fear, jealousy, and anger). We abstract these negative emotions through the game mechanics for each level.
Affordable E-bike's main cause is to create an affordable alternative to a car, for people who either cannot afford a car or would like to spend less money on transportation. The goal is to create a bike that would allow commuters to go further and faster, without breaking the bank. This is done by combining the attractive aspect of a single-speed bike (cheap maintenance and simplicity) with the positives of an electric bike (longer distance with less effort).
Amaru is a hypothetical mascot for NuVu. Their personality and activities are based on the students and coaches. Their design is based on existing helpful and/or friendly desktop robots, as well as some other generally cute robots. The tree on their head symbolizes growth, change, flexibility, and strength. Currently, their role is being a prototype helper app with functions to help around the NuVu space.
PROActive is an application focused on maximizing productivity in young adults with ADHD. It does this by providing a simple, prioritized schedule for its users allowing them to easily plan out their days.
Saturday the 14th is about a group of friends doing a Halloween movie marathon that suddenly ends when the power goes out. They decide to go to sleep, but no one is able to. They then start hearing strange noises, friends disappear, and a hockey mask wearing man appears behind them, setting off a spiral of events.
The story contains several branches depending which pathways through the house the reader chooses to explore. This project allows you to take on the role of a character in a horror movie in order to understand what decisions you would make in these character's shoes.
