Rubick's Cube Diagram

Bridget Tobin

Today we made a diagram of the Rubick's Cube in Illustrator. We started the class by learning the importance of diagrams and how they are helpful. We then watched a diagram video on how to make a dog house. We then listed what we noticed what was important in order to make a 'good' diagram and that wasn't too hard to identify. (step by step, brief and simple, visually engaging, every part has a clear purpose, animated/engaging, technically engaging, funny/humorous, and good marketing). Throughout the rest of class, Sotirios, taught us the main functions of illustrator and what they all meant. I felt like it was pretty easy for me, there were only a couple of times I was confused and didn't know how to do something. I really liked using illustrator because it was all about design and it helped me learn new ways to present, and how to make it more visually pretty for others to look at. Doing illustrator today, allowed me to attempt things on my own and help my peers out when they couldn't figure something out.
