Project Thesis
This project uses gamification to keep the user more engaged. It uses pre-made hints that can provide personalized feedback to the student. It can adapt the hints to match the students' comfort and accuracy in solving the problem. That way, it meets the students at their level and slowly builds their confidence and their comfort level in the topic.

Game Prototyping
Had a ton of prototypes and made a ton of mistakes.
Product Demo
- Fairness: Make sure everyone has the same learning opportunity
- Accountability: Because their teacher is checking over every hint, there should be no inaccuracies due to AI hallucinations
- Transparency: The users know where all of their data is going and how it is being used
- Ethics: intended to teach, so ensuring that learning is happening and that this is not just a video game.
FATE Analysis
Personal AI Reflection
Sammy:
I didn't really use a ton of AI for this project because I was designing the game but I did use it a bit to help me code. I just wish the code it gave me worked.
Kaia:
I personally don't use AI a lot, and I'm morally against it, but the few times I used it this project I have to say it wasn't awful; especially if you use it in a productive way it can actually be cool.
Nico:
I really enjoyed learning how to use HTML and JavaScript to have a working chat interface in a web page. I used GPT to help with the UI and the HTML templates. As far as embedding the GPT API in our HTML, I think it went smoothly (ish).
Thanks!
