2. The way I've been taught math for the majority of my life has been simply memorizing formulas

1. I initially didn't like math as much, but as I got further along I liked it more.
2. I had trouble with the way public school taught math.
3. I struggled with the pace that math was taught at.
4. I like the puzzle-solving aspect of math, trying to figure out how to solve a problem.

We started this project by ananlysing our own past experiences with learning math. As well as the possibilities for one on one tutoring Ai brings to the table which led to what we are going to make

2. There are two points of intervention, At first the AI assists you in your learning, then you switch rolls and you teach the AI

We are creating an AI tutor to act as your teacher, as well as your student. Providing a structured learning experience to students, as well as the opportunity to prove your understanding by teaching the topic back to the AI.

The purpose of this AI is to try and simulate what its like working with a human tutor as best it can, this means talking the student through problems, asking guiding questions, and having a conversation with the student about the subject matter when needed.

؜One of the best ways to learn is one on one tutoring, We want to make sure this AI highlights the same human qauilitys that help when interacting with a tutor, tlaking the student throught problems engaging in conversations, and answering any queastions the student could have
