Support Skeleton
The support skeleton is a non-powered assistant spinal support exoskeleton. It is designed to increase the maximum carrying weight of the user as well as remove stress from the back and shoulders.

Materials
The main body would be constructed out of carbon-fiber-integrated PETG, allowing for much greater impact resistance, shear, and compression strength. unfortunately, I was unable to use carbon fiber as my printer at home malfunctioned forcing me to use basic PETG and laser cut wood. Thankfully, I managed to recover a sample part from the malfunction allowing me to test its potential strength.
Methods
I modeled the body in Fusion 360. I also used fusion 360's stress, thermal, and impact simulations to iterate on the original parts, allowing the part to bear up to 250 lbs of force.
