Triple Think
"Birds Aren't Real"
Gabriel Murray, Schuyler Johnson
Thesis Statement
TripleThink is a party game where you try to have the least score. It is based on the concept of how all the different conspiracies act with each other. Our game is built so that people can understand how quickly conspiracies can spread and move while having fun playing a game.
TripleThink is built for teenagers and young adults. Around 12 years old, children start to go onto the internet a lot more and we want them to be aware of false information. At the start of the game, each player is assigned a quadrant and has to move their piece and the middle piece by using specific cards. As the game resolves whoever's peice is the closest to the middle piece wins.

- Multiple play tests, lots of potential
Cons:
- No action/player interaction
- Not 'satisfying'
What we learned:
- We need a system for conflict

Objectives
Prototype Two
What We Did:
- Created a crisp, more refined map
- Added the ability to 'spread' your conspiracy
Objectives:
- Increase conflict
- Create a more satisfying experience
Areas To Research:
- What conspiracies apply to our game?
- What makes an engine game satisfying?
Research/Feedback
Too Much Conflict!
- Our game became so focused on territory control, it no longer related to conspiracies.
- We needed to reign it in and create a concept that is more conspiracy-based.
Conceptual Precedent:
Political Compass
Precedents (Contd.)
Changes To Game
- No longer engine-building
- Not map based
- One population to "convert"
Prototype Three
Technical Diagram
*Must include at least 1 diagram (Technical or Use Diagram)

Board
Player board hider
Storyboard
