Heart on the Line is a bracelet that allows for a caretaker (not registered nurse or doctor, but a mother, grandchild, neighbor, etc) to be alerted if a person with a heart or health condition has too high or low of a heart rate. There are a lot of devices on the market like FitBits, Apple Watches, etc. that have a heart rate tracker app included, but there isn't anything for people who need their health to be monitored by another person.
Due to many different health conditions and reasons why heart rates can spike to unhealthy levels, Heart on the Line caters to the needs of a larger audience group with any reason for heart rate monitoring. For this reason, this product is designed to alert the caretaker of a high/unhealthy heart rate level so that they can then make a decision on the next steps to take. This allows for the reaction and decisions to include both the patient and the caretaker. Heart on the Line works by connecting the two bracelets using WiFi, LED light strips, and a heart rate monitor. When the monitor senses a heart rate higher than 120BPM, the LED strips on both bracelets light up, alerting both people of the heart rate level.
