I am designing a pair of upcycled modular pants to achieve my goal of having multiple outfits that can arise from just one piece of clothing. It is not necessary to buy 3 pieces of clothing when you can get three pieces in one.

The Pretty Planeteer describes how " An average consumer throws away 70 pounds of clothing per year."

Deconstruction of the corduroys laid out on muslin and marked out to be cut up and sew as a base for the patches

reconstruction of the muslin pieces which were just the same basic outline as the corduroys. I did a quick running stitch to piece them together just to make sure it would fit okay when i made the real thing.
