The Veggie Galaxy is a gamified rewards app designed to capture the attention of younger audiences. This project was developed in collaboration with Veggie Galaxy, a local vegetarian diner. The Veggie Galaxy's target audience is defined using insights gathered from interviews with customers, staff, and the diner’s owner. The app applies mobile game marketing strategies to modern loyalty programs, incorporating quests, leaderboards, and rewards to encourage repeat visits. The quests are tailored to each user's palate, helping them expand their tastes. Upon completing quests, users earn XP (experience points), which accumulate toward discounts. The Veggie Galaxy app increases the likelihood of customers visiting and returning to Veggie Galaxy.
