With a rapidly approaching deadline, Climate change is one of modern day societies most significant issues. Temperatures are increasing, Coasts are rising, and species and habitats are going extinct. If meaningful changes are not made soon, the effects of climate change may become irreversible. Currents of change is mechanical art installation designed to highlight the effects of global warming on Boston's coast line, by slowing submerging a model city. This installation was created to provide a sidewalk opportunity to introduce the issue of climate change and put a physical and meaningful asset behind a statistic that most people view as trivial and arbitrary.
