My project is an upcycled garment that is meant to help protect domestic violence victims.  I took inspiration from events that took place in my own life and want to use this piece as a message to people that his issue is important and that we must protect our most vulnerable members of society.

 Looking at the emotional, mental, and physical trauma that women suffer through, I was inspired to use these three categories to influence the construction of the dress.
