ARKit is a powerful new technology for the latest iOS devices that has the power to create what was, merely one year ago, science fiction. ARKit can create immersive Augmented Reality (AR) experiences. AR is similar to Virtual Reality (VR), except that instead of simulating a 100% virtual world, it will include virtual elements placed into the real world (Pokemon Go is the most famous example).

Using ARKit, programming, and the multimedia creation tool Unity3D, we will create small art projects that are on the absolute cutting-edge of design. ARKit’s power far outsteps the progress of digital design--no one knows what to use it for yet! In this studio, we will consider its capabilities, and find new, innovative forms of expression.
