Domeland is a game in which the user will be in a glass box in the air where they can look down at a question. The user can also go down to the area they were looking at and look around for a hint to help you get the answer. Domeland hopes to help teach people about how renewable energy works and possibly get them to switch.

Domeland is a game as it hopes to help teach kids about renewable energies so they can get their parents to switch and when they grow up they will know more about renewable energy sources. The user will be presented with a question and have a door on each side of them. If you get it right they will be teleported to the next dome and if they get it wrong they will be reset to the start.

Domeland is a VR experience designed to educate people about random facts involving renewable energy. The idea is that there are multiple domes, each one of them containing a different type of energy source., The useryou will also be presented with a question, and it’s the usersyour job to find the hidden clue in the dome, which should lead the useryou to the correct answer!

Domeland was created to teach the next generation of humans to teach them about the pros and cons of different energy sources from a young age. Furthermore, Domeland was designed for a younger audience around ages 7-12. Overall Domeland gives an immersive VR experience while teaching you about different energy sources.

end of week notes

Owen Eddy and Owen Eddy

I got a lot of work done today, mostly fixing bugs. We've decided to go for a game with expectations vs reality of nuclear power plants. I'm working on the expectation side, which is chaotic and insane, and Declan is going for a more modern approach to a real power plant.

  1. the mini-game idea is good but might be hard to make
  2. focus more on how you can work more of the powerplant idea into the game

Renewable Road Trip is a Virtual Reality experience that teaches the user about the evolution of different types of renewable energy sources while they drive. The user is driving an electric car that is powered by chargers from different renewable energy sources. While the player drives up the road, they enter different environments with different levels that each charger has to correspond with in order to provide energy. The first level is rivers and hydro power. The second level is open green land with lots of sun for solar power. Once the user gets to the last level, it consists of mountains, clouds, and lots of wind for wind energy to power the charger.

This learning experience is made for people to be educated on how renewable energy works and how it can be tied to many different things and can start replacing gas/oil powered machines. While the user drives, the radio will inform the driver on how the upcoming renewable energy car charger works. Most people do not know what types of renewable energy that can be used for different gas powered machine replacements. Renewable Road Trip is meant to educate people on how you can implement renewable energy into electric cars and how it can help.
