Hydrodynamics
By Aveen Nagpal
Project Statement
High Performance row boat manufacturing is a discipline measured in millimeters, those minor changes result in millisecond gains over five minute courses. Those milliseconds are what distinguish the winners from the loosers. This project seeks to bring creative design thinking to the table in an already saturated area of study, hydrodynamics.
This is accomplished by constructing a fluid dynamics testing chamber, with the capacity to support multiple types of boat hulls, simulate passing water at multiple speeds and in many directions, and simulate different types of underwater turbulance.
