Podcast Journalism

Saba Ghole

Session 1: July 12-23, 2021

The birth of public radio broadcasting made it possible to share information long distance and transformed the way we exchange stories. Fast forward to 2021, amidst the global epidemic and lockdown, many people found connection, news, and entertainment through podcasts at the comfort of their homes.

In Podcast Journalism, students will create short, high-quality, multi-layered audio stories. They will curate narration, interviews, sound and music to tell engaging, original, human stories that resonate with current events and sentiments. With the help of their Coach and editor, each student will take on the role of a reporter, creating “packages” that are deeply researched, rigorously accurate and tightly scripted, with first-rate production values.
