The real-time student feedback device allows students to give immediate feedback to teachers on how well they are understanding the material and how they are feeling. The teacher will be able to access all of the feedback over the internet and adjust their lesson accordingly. The students will have a device on their desk with a slider, four buttons, and a heart rate monitor. Each of these input mechanisms will convey different data to the teacher. The slider will convey how well each student is understanding the material. The buttons will be utilized for quick multiple-choice questions or surveys where the teacher can get immediate results. The heart rate monitor will continuously run and display to the teacher if the students are nervous or tense.
The current problem is that there is no communication between students and teachers on Zoom. People overwhelmingly have blank facial expressions for the duration of the call. The teacher is unable to tell if students are understanding the material. This device will bridge that gap.
This device is for students’ input, and there is an interface where the teacher can access this information.
The technology that this device uses is a linear potentiometer, four buttons, and a heart rate monitor. All of these components will be connected to an ESP32 board. All of the data collected will be available on an app or webpage via the internet and an MQTT broker. This will allow the teacher and students to be anywhere in the world and still receive the data in real-time.

The Real Time Student Feedback Device is designed to give teachers analog indicators of a students level of tension, and understanding, stress, and allow them to ask multiple choice questions. The foot slider portion of the device sits on the floor beneath a students foot(Left or Right), and rolls back and forth on a set of wheels. The two wheels are positioned beneath the front region of the arch, on either side of the slider. the position of the wheel is displayed to the teacher on a website. The tabletop portion of the device is designed to have the user's left hand rested on it. It has a slider, four colored buttons, and a heart rate monitor.
The designers think it is important for teachers to be able to see the levels of tension, the level of understanding, and the level of stress of their students. This is because teachers often use the behavior of their students, which is often not conveyed on zoom, to know if they should slow down or speed up the lesson. The floor slider works by checking the position of a potentiometer, a type of position sensor, that is attached to one of the wheels axle. The device correlates a foot position closer to the body to a higher level of tension. The device uses the tabletop slider as a way for students to have conscious input on their level of understanding. The heart rate monitor serves to measure the student's level of stress/excitement. the buttons allow the teacher to ask multiple choice questions.

During this time there are many people without access to human interaction. This robot is meant for those people. It provides comfort when there is no one around. It has two modes: a remote controlled mode that allows someone else to control the robot. This allows for non direct interaction between two people. And a automatic mode that is triggered by a button on the top of its head, that allows for the robot to comfort you without the need for another person.
The robot is a circular shape with a domed top, and has arms connected to a scissor lift so it can hug at different heights. The entire body and arms are cushioned so the hug feels less mechanical, and more organic.

In the age of Covid, Many kids (and adults) feel depressed. In order to combat this depression, the Hug-Bot was created. The hug bot is a little blob of soft cloth and stuffing that hugs you when you pet it. Our project is made to help people with depression, and they will use it when they feel sad or angry.
UPLOAD MEDIA
The Media Hub has four ways to upload media. The Media tab will show all of your content. You can upload images from the desktop by clicking to the right where it says "Upload".
The Camera tab will let you include images from the photo booth.
The Embed tab will let you place a video or image directly into the slide.
The Fetch tab is useful when dropping in images using the url.
ADD VIDEO TO SLIDE
Posts can now include video and image files in the same presentation.
From the Media Hub, simply click the “Upload Media” button to load a .mp4 or movie file. Once it is successfully uploaded, you can play it directly from your slide.
ADD IMAGE TO SLIDE
After selecting an image (pink border will show around the image), you can place the selected item(s) to a single slide or multiple slides.
Once it is on the slide, you can freely scale the image by selecting any corner.
Right click on the image to reveal other options.
Click on the bottom of the slide to include a caption in the "Add Caption" box.
UPLOAD MEDIA: FETCH
The Fetch tab is useful for uploading image files directly from your source. It reduces the need for downloading images into your desktop.
As you are browsing the web, simply right click on the image to 'Save Image URL'.
Also, notice the Image Size menu that appears when you select the image. You can crop and resize the image to be at a certain pixel size.
Make sure to cite your sources in the caption.
ADD MULTIPLE IMAGES TO SINGLE SLIDE
You can select several images to be placed into a single slide, allowing you to display relevant precedents collectively.
When you have more than three images selected on the slide, a new alignment menu will appear at the top. This will sort the images to align along the same edge.
Clicking on the corner of the image will allow you to scale the image. The background grid is useful for referencing and spacing.
You can group select images on the slide so that they can move together without changing the spacing or alignment.
TEXT EDITOR
Clicking on the Text Editor icon will drop a default text box onto your slide.
Double click the box to edit text.
Select the text to open up a text editor menu. Using these options you can easily resize, format, style and align based on your needs.
CREATE SLIDE FROM TEMPLATE
Once you’ve started a post and added your first slide, you will see an option to create slides from different templates.
Locate the thumbnail icon at the bottom left of the slideshow window. When you click on Add Slide From Template, you should see different options to choose from. Type into the text box to replace with your own. Drop in images into the gray boxes by simply clicking on Upload Image.
