Thesis Statement

Dip-lomacy is an installation exploring, demonstrating and commenting on gastronationalism and culinary diplomacy through an examination of the US hummus market. Dip-lomacy uses data visualizations to create an educational and engaging experience for the user. Dip-lomacy looks at gastronationalistic tendencies and how those tendencies affect western markets, specifically how gastronationalism affects branding and marketing in the US.
