Thesis Statement

Global warming is a pressing issue in society. In order to make a step towards solving global warming, more people need to be aware of it. Global warming is an important issue because it causes a rise in sea level, loss of coastal land, increased droughts and floods, and it poses a threat to biodiversity. Since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels (like coal, oil, and gas) which produces heat-trapping gases.This is designed for the entire community because many people are not even aware of how bad global warming actually is, and that is what's trying to be solved here. The more people that are aware of this issue, the better.
