I feel like my project i coming along nicely, I think the landscaping needs some more attention

I made more of the course that you play on

Next step is working more on the terrain and the atmosphere

I find the 3D shapes the most useful

I am hoping to get all the floating rocks in tomorrow

I have multiple favorite songs at the moment

My first week was great, I learned a lot and I had a lot of fun.

The assignments have changed my vision of the world to make me see that we can create any sort of world we can imagine and we can be everywhere from our living room.

I will need some floating islands, maybe some stuff to make up a campsite. For the story you go to sleep and then wake up in this strange land.

It is always day in the land I am creating, or at least when you are inside, you are not meant to spend an entire day in it but if you do then you will always have light to see. Unless I do a night setting so you can see the world I made at night time.

The epicenter of your world is the spawn area where you see all the crazy shapes and you learn what you get into from seeing this first world.

The story I'm telling is the player comes into this crazy world and they don't know what is happening. Then a mysterious voice tells them that there is a super cool trophy at the end of the world, so the player embarks on a journey to get it

Crazy weird floating shapes

The design as I said is not exact, each area is a full open world, with different terrain and background. The map is just to save space and show only the areas you will actually be on.

Photoshop is much more complex then what I used to use (Google Drawings). Although for the collages it was really helpful to try and portray what my world is going to look like.

3 areas in my world are the three levels, and the learning area

the vibe is sort of mystical, you are surrounded by geometric shapes and it feels like you dont really know where you are

The name of my world is 'Move'

the main mode of moving is jumping

The moodboard inspired the surroundings and the area in which you are walking and jumping on

What are three things that are important to you?

Creativity, I really like creativity because I constantly use it. My pets are very important to me because I love them and i devote myself to them. My computer, because I do almost everything on it, I use it to play games, I use it to communicate, and I use it to create.

How are you planning to fill out your moodboard?

Go through some more examples of other moodboards, and then go look for some fitting images I might want to use.

What is the look, feel, vibe you want to explore in your moodboard?

Very geometrical, no real roundness, but a lot of places to explore. Coloring is black for the shapes, but the surrounding is reddish swirls with some orange too. The surrounding should also be mirror y, like the mirror dimension in Doctor Strange.

What drew you initially to choose the immersive environment examples you chose?

I like that colors, and I really like Doctor Strange, so I kind of want to mimic that. I want the geometric shapes because I do a bit of parkour and it is easier with random shapes you can run around on.

How did your second day go? How do you feel about your project so far? What is working well? What needs more attention?

It went well, I feel exited about the project. I think the moodboard will come out nicely, but maybe my environment need more attention because it might be hard to create

I really like how it looks similar to Alice in wonderland. It feels as though you are in multiple different dimensions at once. I also like the interactivity. I really enjoy stuff like that that you can touch and feel and use.

I really liked how you could project any sort of image you wanted around you, and how you could do that but with also the mesmerizing effects of the falling water. You could also do anything in there. Have a show, have an exhibit, anything really.

I enjoyed the first session. I think some of the experience has been drained from not doing it in person, but its better than nothing. I learned about what we are going to do this course and I met a lot of new people.
