Charity Gala
Our Story
The inspiration for this project was a personal story, written as a part or the Local Agents of Change studio. Something that has heavily impacted my personal community both physically and emotionally is cancer. Many of my friends and family have had cancer, are currently battling it, or have passed way due to it. It's a disease that affects many people and can make people feel like they can't do anything to help.
Our Goal
The problem we are trying to address is the urgent need for funding for cancer research. We are taking action not only to raise money, but also to bring awareness and hope to a disease that can make people feel helpless. Our goal is to plan and host a charity gala to raise money for cancer research, and the proceeds will go directly to Mass General Hospital.
