Pitch

Our project music and mechanisms is an escape room puzzle that has 2 parts. One being a physical portion encourages you to manually manipulate the puzzle in order to get an output. the other part being a mental oriented around thinking about different aspects in different ways to get the correct result. the goal of the puzzle is to get a name as an output.

Here is the original inspiration made by Leo for a portion of this project.

On the music poster there are specific characters highlighted in different colours that when added together create "C.ADAEIB", which when letters are converted to numbers creates "3.141592", the beginning numbers of pi. The other set of highlighted characters becomes "HFGD", which when letters are converted to numbers becomes "8675", Nuvu's old door password.

For this music poster puzzle, there was a clear page with highlighted rectangles on it, which are meant to cover over the letters of the poster and align to find the letters that make "DESIGN".

Part two

The maze is the physical part of our puzzle that provides an answer to help with the mental portion. Inspiration came from antique marble maze toys.

Connecting the puzzles

When the characters from the maze are discovered, they come together to create "A1B2C3", which when working on both the maze and the music posters, suggests that the letters on the first music poster puzzle should be converted to numbers.
