"Gays against Humanity" is a card game that resembles a more LGBTQ+ youth-focused version of Cards Against Humanity. This will be an icebreaker game at our event. Our game is a more safe for work version of the classic game, this also includes relatable satirical refrences for queer youth our age.

2010 tumblr, more specifically the queer side of tumblr.

Research

We spent a lot of time looking at real Cards Against Humanity cards for inspiration. We also looked at some popular tumblr posts for that style of humor!

By the time we were officially printing these, we made 270 answer cards and 90 prompt cards

Final

People seemed to love our game and interact with it exactly as expected. Crowds of unreasonable size formed in two of the three areas, and it seems people didn't actually notice the third area. The corner studio didn't have any other projects around it, so people probably assumed it didn't have anything in it. Still though, the rooms where it was actually played were quite successful and enjoyable.
