Research

I am interested in baking as a career. I have always been fascinated by the delicate, detailed

cake decorating technique since before I can remember. I started a small business when I was about nine, and have continued decorating ever since. I am passionate about customer service, and putting others' ideas and designs into beautiful cakes/cupcakes to make whatever event that much more special.

Overall, I feel very accomplished with this studio. My main habits of mind were express and envision, and I feel as though I did express what I want in my portfolio, as well as envisioned what I should add. The core skills I wanted to focus on were sketching/drawing, which I feel I learned a lot from. Another was research, I did a lot of thorough research on drawing, precedents, and different ideas that benefitted my and my portfolio. I think this studio helped me a lot to decide and portray what I want in my portfolio, and I am happy with adding this project, or a version of this project in my final.
