Material exploration

Identity vessels is a series of three objects that encapsulate specific and defining moments in my life. to achieve this these objects provide a user an experience that allows them to share the experiences I've had instead of laying it out as some thing to read instead of experience. The Plane Builder isa set of plane parts that could be assembled into different planes to see what would work best. Omaha Beach is a diorama that used only paper to give the same feeling of awe that I felt being there. Finely , The Rail Trail is a hand cranked object that makes the bike wheels move but stay static, showing my frustration of being left out.

After the project I have become a far better at designing a prototype and fabricating it into reality. I learned how to use simple materials such as paper and cardboard to make complex objects such as using tape to shape cardboard into aerodynamic shapes so it will produce lift but also be strong and light . I taught myself ways to make the materials able to work into my designs in ways I thought it couldn't like crumpling paper and unfolding it to look like a cliff face.
