Project Paragraph
This studio I worked on a few projects. I started to create a resume filled with all my skills and outside of school experiences that had an impact on my life. I also worked on my sketching which needed some work in a few departments, proportions, emotion, and line quality/weight. I was pretty happy with the essay I wrote since I captured a passion in my life and really revealed it, even to myself. I had written about things that I do not think about much but that I really value and it was nice to express them in my essay. These projects were smaller and did not take learning an extreme new skill to learn but they were really impactful for me.
Growth Paragraph
Throughout this studio I have seen improvement in a few departments that I didn't think I would/could grow in. I saw growth in my sketching and my ability to write. I was also able to keep all of my college tasks organized and that led to me being less stressed out about what I have to do. I was able to connect with Tessa a bunch and meet about contacting and digging into the websites to find our answers for requirements each school had. I learned that colleges are good at hiding valuable application requirements deep in their websites but Tessa and I were able to dig in and reveal those hidden requirements. I was able to connect my essay and portfolio with how I personified cars and gave them personalities. I met someone from ArtCenter and he helped me grow in making my sketches better by getting inspired by objects that don't directly connect with transportation.
