Research

Throughout Beyond NuVu, my goals/Habits of Mind were to focus mainly on engaging, persisting, and expressing. I believe these goals fit best with the work I did because I knew from the start I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do, and I feel as though I got help when needed, and worked through it. The two Core Skills I feel I succeeded the most in were research and concept development. During the entire studio, I mainly researched different ways to help my portfolio, whether that was precedents for my cakes, or websites to create an outline for mine. I feel as though my main take away was that I finalized and fully developed my concept, which helped me work on completing a full portfolio,
