Tableau

I came across a program called Tableau which is a program that can be used to convey data. During my research I decided I would use it for my ways to show data. I watched a couple youtube tutorials and got the idea of how to work through Tableau

With Tableau I made a lot of charts and graphs the show my data, but one of my favorite features was the map feature.

After looking through all the sources I had to think of two ideas to help solve runway incursions

Solution

The Solutions

For this solution, airports would place antennas and lights on runways. The antennas would geolocate planes and display them to other pilots taking off or landing. This would help make sure during intense weather conditions pilots know what is in front of the pilots.

In the second solution, we would improve the radar in airplanes to be more similar to the ones with ATC. this would give the pilots more confidence in the sky.
