The first picture is of a fountain that is located in Chicago. Peoples faces are projected on the screen and there a hole in the middle that allows the water to flow through resulting in in looking like the person on the screen is spitting out water. This is a very clever idea because it uses both water, but also the projection of people at the site. Its a funny concept that easily captures peoples attention that are around. The second picture is an image of a shark that was placed on the floor of an elevator. This piece is really interesting because it elicits an initial reaction of fear, but also causes interest to figure out what the purpose of it is. The third piece is a really creative piece that uses old ad sign. When stood behind the "ad" it makes it look like a working x-ray machine. This one is very different from the other two because it is the most interactive of the three allowing people walking by easy access to it. I think that in order to have a good interactive art piece you need to have something that makes people feel somethine intially and also confuses them a bit so that they want to figure out how it works.
