The concept demonstrates a statement on nature, how it could be symbiotic with humans, and how humans can give or take from nature. Ironically, while the final piece is bleak, there is a hope that nature will continue to persist and thrive, with or without humans, I planned to demonstrate this in two paintings, emphasizing the reality of a desolate abandoned type of foliage, versus what we could have if we capitalized off plants available to us.
