Our Innovation Camp for Educators that ran from June 22-26 was a huge success! Thirty teachers and administrators from around the world, as well as others interested in the studio model, gathered at NuVu in Cambridge for a week-long deep dive into the design studio model. By the end of the week and having gone through an intensive iterative design process in the studio, the group had produced a fascinating range of products including: Edward Teacher Hands (a gesture-based wearable for monitoring the classroom with super power capabilities); Ring Tone (a wearable product for translating textures to sound); Phone Fashion (a fashionable phone headpiece for amplifying sound while enhancing the experience of hands-free conversations); and Adapt-a-Baby (an adaptable, easy-to-wear baby carriage).
