Exquisite Corpse Reimagined is a game that is designed to have people remember past events in a fun way. Exquisite Corpse Reimagined is inspired by PEM. An artist named Kimsooja created an exhibit called PEM that intersects clay-making with meditation. The artist believes that working with clay can be meditating and it shows the participant's true colors and personality. The goal is for the participants to make a round ball with clay. The art is made by all of the balls of clay laid out beside each other. In our studio, we wrote stories about important memories to us that highlighted the five senses (touch, taste, sight, smell, hearing). Almost everybody has memory like Abby's first music performance or Nick's discovered love of coding that evokes emotion and was a moment of growth and change for them. Using the idea of this clay-ball project and how it is shown by each individual's project, we decided that we can use our 6 core words from our stories, (passion, expansion, exploration, grit, confidence, and rewarding), to collect a lot of different core-memory stories like ours and make new stories by folding over the paper and adding drawings.
