This makes these sources of energy more reliable. In addition, renewable energy produces nearly no greenhouse gas emissions. This among others reduces the pollution in our world, securing a safer world for the future. Pollution increases global temperatures which melt iceburgs and raises sea levels. With higher sea levels, coastal villages are put at high risks. Pollution also makes the air and water we breathe and drink contaminated, putting our health on the line. For these reasons, renewable energy is significant to ensuring a better future.
