Genetic Generation visualizes the genetics of cats by procedurally generating cats in Houdini, a procedural modeling software. Cats have their traits defined by the genotype and phenotype of their parents. Different traits are more or less likely to be passed down and to exist with each other. In Houdini, we created the cats and created and colored areas within them to scatter and add variation to them. Going forward, we would add more detail to the way cats are colored and create a better ordering system for generations. We would also add more detail to each cat to create more traits for each one.
