Who: We wanted to create a device that could help people traverse an environment with a lot of trees. In a world where everything is in the treetops, navigating the canopies is key to survival.
Why: While humans evolved from tree-climbing ancestors, we have lost many of our skills in favor of living on the ground, including tails. If humans were to move back into trees, a tail would be essential.
