Most of us sometimes have this problems: 

There is no your size in the shop

The size fits perfectly the one part of your body, but doesn't fit other parts at all

Your chid has already grown out of clothes in a month

My idea is to make a soft robotic mechanism that can change lenght and width of tissue

Conclusion

My main idea is to put my mechanism on the back side of clothes. It will help changing size as you want

Ideas to improve my mechanism:

- Add small magnets. They will help vacuum hold folds and will make clothes look neat

- Creat something to make the mechanism changing place , because different people have different problems with the size
