International Student Requirements

Saba Ghole

The NuVu Summer 2015 Residential Program is a wonderful opportunity for international students to live and learn with citizens from the U.S. and around the world. As a student, you will not only participate in NuVu’s award-winning innovation-geared program, but through the Residential Program, you will interact with students from around the globe and learn how to relate successfully in a multicultural environment. Our Residential Program provides a uniquely global experience while studying with students and collaborating with professional mentors from MIT and Harvard.

Health Insurance

All participants are required to have coverage from a U.S. based accident and health insurance provider. Short term health insurance is offered by many U.S. companies such as USI Affinity Travel Services. Short term health insurance is necessary to pay for any medical attention you might need. Please remember that, while “Travel Insurance” may assist you with travel costs in the event of an emergency, many policies do not cover medical bills. International participants and others without this coverage will be billed each Session for a short term accident/health policy.

Visa

Visa requirements differ among countries, and depending on a student’s nationality. Students enrolled in NuVu’s Residential Program are responsible for learning the requirements of their destination based on their nationality, and for obtaining their own visa should one be required.
