NuVu is on the road and setting up our studio at Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge this summer. The theme is Games and Magic, and we are getting set for three weeks of fun creating and playing games. We'll have a combination of high school and middle school students participating in the studio as well as teachers. Our first task for the weekend before the workshop was unpacking and setting up the 10 team stations with all the basic tools needed for the workshop: soldering iron, cutting mat, rulers, utility knife, glue gun, glue sticks, scissors, pencils, wire strippers, and flush cutters. Equipped with these basic tools, a creative spirit, a collaborative mindset, and some fun-loving and expert NuVu coach-mentors, the teams will be set to design, experiment, create and learn!
