Production decisions:

We had the idea to make our illustrations "cartoonish" from the beginning. What did change is the medium we decided to go with. At first we thought to color in our sketches with chalk but soon after coloring our first draft we concluded it was too messy. After that, we switched to acrylic, it had the boldness we were looking for without the mess and gave us more control. after the scenes were painted we used photoshop to touch up the paintings and  white outlines to show detail and express emotion.
