Project Statement

Nectar Royale is a board game where you play as a bee and collect nectar from the middle to bring it back to your hive. We looked into bee's behavior and the pollination process while putting our own fantasy spin onto the project.

Game Elements & Rules

؜In Nectar Royale, you must collect nectar and fight other players using cards and die. This is a strategic game that requires critical thinking from each player. There are board spaces, like a traditional board game, but also a battle aspect with attack and status cards for dueling. To win, get all 6 pieces of nectar.

؜It's a bit unbalanced in terms of strategy, since once the player dies, they lose everything. That doesn't quite make sense, because the nectar has already been collected and wouldn't realistically be lost upon dying. The cards also need some revision, as some were too overpowered and many were unfair to the opponent.
