Project Statement

؜The Way of the Train is our game that focuses on building train lines across the area. we wanted the game to be complicated enough where its interesting to learn, but not so complicated that you quickly become lost. the game ends when you reach 50 points, which can be obtained by building your train line and getting upgrades. This game includes a base map of the board, as well as playable characters, cards, and more.

1) the game takes forever

Observations

Core Game Loop

The definition of gameplay loop we have generally been following is “the repeating cycle of actions a player performs to achieve goals in a game.”

We have many different game elements for our game such as

1. Trane head
2. Bored
3. Upgrade cards
4. Quest cards
5. Player markers
6. Player board
7. train station Bass

We made these parts by using many different fabrication devices such as a laser cutter 3D printer and paper cutter.It was really fun and we are very

proud of all of the game elements that we have.
