؜In modern day politics while AFAB people are

actively losing rights to their own body, which we chose to symbolize through puppetry. This necklace is to be worn with the uterus pendent in the front representing the person's body, with

the puppet holders in the back representing the government being in control.

؜With the intention of representing the lack of reproductive rights in modern day U.S., we landed on the symbol of a lock and key, with the locks on bracelets representing handcuffs, to indicate the lack of bodily autonomy. The necklace aspect of this set is a key with the top being a hanger, to represent the uncomfortable truth of what abortion bans mean, and the fact that banning abortion will not end abortions, instead it will only end safe abortions.

؜Based on a statistic found by the World Health Organization, every two minutes a woman dies due to a pregnancy or childbirth issue or complication.

This necklace symbolizes this, with the red gem stones representing the death of another person and each pearl representing one minute.
