We liked our second prototype at first, but once we were half way done with building it, we scrapped the idea. We think that making the frame bigger, allowing for bigger propellers will help lift the vehicle better. We also thought that making the frame as just one flat surface as opposed to a box would help a lot with making the vehicle less heavy.
This was our first, small-scale replica of the Flying Toad. We learned that we want to make the notches bigger in our next prototype, as well as the pontoons. As for the wheels, we wanted to make them like water mills in the next prototype to be able to propel the vehicle in water.
