For our creature Chase and I decided to create an octopus. We started out by coming up with how the octopus would look and figuring out how we would make it kinetic. We decided on making the tentacles 3 parts so that they all moved indepently when a string which is threaded through the octopus' head is pulled. 

For our project we came up with a microphone that you can cast much like a fishing rod. It allows the user to have acess to hearing things that are far away. At the bottom of the eavesdropping stick there is a headphone jack that you can use to listen to what people are saying. At the end of the stick there is a small microphone that can be easily thrown that picks up sound. When we first started we didn't have a spool, but then we thought that we needed a way to retract the microphone so you can see in our first attempt that there is a mircophone attached. We also made the tape black because we felt that it would make it less visibl than the blue that we initially used.
