That Moose BElongs to Me and What's in a name?

This week, we explored different ways to represent ourselves through code and and through expressive text. We used legos to write our names in Braille, made binary code bead sequences and necklaces of our names, and made paintings of our names in cursive, thinking about positive and negative space.

We also introduced the idea of image manipulation and multimedia image production: the students worked in Adobe Sketch to make a collage of their own image with a background scene and some drawing on top. They started to learn about layers and image editing.
