Project Statement

؜Lost is a game where both teams are trying to find their lost person before the other. It takes 10 to 30 minutes to play. Lost takes place on November 11, 1918, in Russia. In order to find your lost person, you have to get gear to travel through different areas. First to three rounds wins.

Sketch Exploration

Prototypes

؜Prototype 1: This is our cardboard prototype with foam mountains and cardboard and chipboard cards.

؜Prototype 2: This is our laser cut cardboard and wood prototypes with 3D printed mountains, forests and paper cards.

Game Testing

1) First, we noticed that it was too hard to find the lost person.

2) We also noticed that we did not have enough cards for gear.

3) Finaly, we noticed that the borders were too confusing.

Game Elements & Rules

؜First you roll one of the two dice and then you move your peg accordingly. A chunk is a 3x3 box, when you land in a chunk you ask "is my lost person on this chunk" and they tell you either "yes" or "no". If it is a no then they tell you how many chunks you are away from it. Once you find your lost person you win that round, the winner is the person who wins three rounds.
