Independent skis talk's about a memory or set of memories that Dhruv has. These memories are about a time when he was younger. Dhruv. and his brother would go skiing with just the 2 of them. This was important to them because it was together and it was one off the first things they did away from parents and under their own supervision. This memory was important and really represented connection and independence for Dhruv. With this in mind the prototypes were very conceptual in representing just emotion. In summery the goal in the project is to take these themes from the memories and covey them through electronics and mechanisms.
My project is a machine is a that folds tamales to decrease the time that it takes to make tamales. The machine is designed for small Mexican restaurants and home cooks.

Guiding Questions
1) In a final version, how could I design the product so that it ties into your identity specifically?
2) Do you have a form factor in mind for this product? Do you want it fold up to make storing it easy?
3) Is there a way that we could make it so that it takes your whole family to make tamales?
Looking for feedback on
1) What different materials can I use to diffuse the LEDs?
2) What different mechanisms can I try to place the rubber band on the tamale?
3) How can I account for different corn husk sizes?
