coding

My project was created to represent gratefulness, similar to how Max, my partner in the project, felt at the end of his hike. In the first half of the studio, I created the water bottle prototype which showed gratefulness by displaying a pretty scene in the bottle. At around the middle of the studio, I decided to change my idea from the water bottle prototype. The new idea was in the shape of a box. The project itself is a sad person chained down inside an open box. When someone looks at the sad person, they are meant to feel grateful that they are where they are.

In Electronic Vessels, I learned how to code a bit in Arduino. Before this studio I knew barely anything about coding, but this studio helped me understand how the system really worked. I also learned how to solder wires to an LED strip, and tried and failed to solder them to a motion sensor.
