SkiHud is an innovative heads-up display designed to enhance the skiing experience through the implementation of an augmented reality (AR) system. The current version of SkiHud primarily caters to Ski Patrol operations, offering invaluable assistance in rescue missions and patrol activities. By providing essential data such as radio communication, AI video processing, and sensor information encompassing speed, altitude, and patient vitals, SkiHud serves as a comprehensive tool for Ski Patrol teams.

In terms of UI, Google Glass is a great works-like prototype for our group to use because of its simple interface. Microsoft's HoloLens is a great technical prototype, as it uses the same method of projection that SkiHUD uses.

Fallout HUD and UI (Inspirational Precedent)

Fallout's HUD is a great precedent for how we want our UI to look. Highlighting different areas of the screen brings a lot of attention to them, which we will implement in the computer vision prototype.
